With one of the most photographed coastlines in the world you take a short Tuk-Tuk or scooter ride from Gurubebila to Jungle Beach to world famous lazy left, lazy right, rams and Devils Rock and Weligama main beach itself.
The surf season is generally considered to commence in August and finish in March. For many the end of the season finishes just around the time of the celebration of the Sri Lankan Sinhalese New Year which is mid April.
